The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
